Almondvale And Elements To Become ‘The Centre’ Of Retail Excellence

Livingston’s Almondvale Shopping Centre and The Elements – the new £130million extension to Almondvale – will be known by the new name ‘The Centre’ from 16 October 2008.
The name change coincides with the opening date of the new shopping extension which has been eagerly anticipated.

Almondvale Shopping Centre Awards West Lothian Schools for Eco Ideas

Four West Lothian Schools collected their share of £2,000 on Thursday (5th June) following their success in the first ever Eco-School Energy Awareness Challenge which was co-ordinated by Almondvale Shopping Centre in Livingston.
The shopping centre, which joined forces with West Lothian Council's education department to launch the challenge, invited all schools in the area to enter the competition and were challenged to find the most innovative eco-idea which would benefit their school and support the work they are undertaking for their Eco-School award.
New website is a big ‘click’ with shoppers

Improving the Shopping Experience at Almondvale

Shoppers visiting Almondvale Shopping Centre over recent months will have noticed some new additions to the Livingston mall. As part of an initial £400,000 investment by owners and managers Land Securities, a number of improvements have been made to upgrade the look and feel of the centre to make it an even better place to shop.
TheatreQuest in Full Swing

Local primary seven pupils at St Mary’s RC School, have been busy working on a never before seen play over the past few months and will be exhibiting their work in Almondvale Shopping Centre in February.
Pupils at St Mary’s RC School in Bathgate, West Lothian, performed extracts from the play ‘A Singer from the Desert Came’, at their school in December. Written by multi award-winning author Jamila Gavin as part of TheatreQuest 2007, the play is set in a future without adults and is a prediction of things to come if global warming is not tackled.
